Built for the slightly more traditional stability runner who heel strikes, the new FAAS 600 S is at an 8mm Heel-to-Toe Drop, which encourages runners to midfoot strike. The shoe features PUMA?s innovative one-piece midsole with FAAS Engineered Stability technology that is one of its kind in the industry. Minimal and highly breathable AirMesh upper for increased comfort. Midfoot mono mesh locks the foot to the midsole and provides a secure fit. High rebound OrthoLiteﾮ sockliner: Provides higher responsiveness and step-in comfort through the gait cycle while featuring improved air circulation with antimicrobial properties. Fewer overlays on medial forefoot to provide comfort to runners with bunions, while supporting a stable ride. External heel counter provides support and protection without added weight. FAAS Foam+: PUMA’s new proprietary blend of foam and rubber, which is more resilient, has increased step-in comfort and a springier feel – and is 25% lighter. Enhanced flexibility with increased forefoot flex grooves. Flex notches: aligned with the forefoot flex grooves for consistent flexibility and an easier toe-off. Lateral release groove and decoupled heel: slows down the rate of pronation and provides a more gradual transition from heel-strike to midfoot stance. FAAS Engineered Stability Zone on the medial midsole and the outsole delivers a more stable ride.
