Amazon.com: B-Nergetics Turmeric Curcumin - 650mg per Serving - 60 Veggie Capsules - All Natural Supplement: Health & Personal Care

I received a sample of this product for an honest review and want to emphasize that all opinions expressed on this review are solely mine and are not influenced by another in any way

I am of Southeast Asian descent and I have been eating tumeric all my life in the cultural dishes that are made at home. You can go to the neighborhood indian store and you can fin large bags of tumeric to purchase to spice up the curry for dinner. And of course tumeric has multiple benefits to ones body. Unfortunately, if you are not from that region of Asia, you most likely do not consume the wonder that is tumeric and must resort to buying the supplements. Some people can't stand the taste of the powdery tumeric and most do not cook with tumeric as an ingredient and it is here where this supplement comes in handy.

The tumeric is encased in veggie capsule which in my opinion a better alternative to the gel capsule since they contain gelatin and are not vegetarian friendly. A good amount of tumeric is within the capsule and I definitely recommend following the directions within the label to get optimum results. A good whiff of the container leaves a strong smell of the spice in your nose and I have to say that the tumeric inside the capsule greatly resembles the tumeric you can purchase as a culinary spice at ethnic stores. Now I know that you can technicaly buy the spice and mix a tablespoon of the stuff with milk and gulp it down, but in my opinion it is not very tasty and I am sure many can agree.

If you really cant stand the taste of tumeric but crave the beneficial health qualities that this miraculous spice has, then I greatly recommend this. It has no harmful side affects and I found the capsules easily digestible. The price is somewhat on the steep side but it does hold up to quality and standard. Give this a try if you need some tumeric in your life.

Written by Ishi Khosla | Published:July 25, 2015 3:10 am Health effects of Garcinia Indica, popularly known as kokum, include anti-obesity and anti-cancer. The demand for fat burning pills seems to be growing, for obvious reasons. What seems to have been missed is the fact that the most sought after popular fat burner — Garcinia Indica — is available right in our backyards. Popularly known as kokum in India, Garcinia Indica has been used for centuries in Asian countries for culinary purposes as a condiment and flavoring agent in place of tamarind and lemon. It's used in juices, pickles and to add sourness to curries. Kokum tree is predominantly grown in the tropical humid rainforests of Western Ghats in South India. The fruits are green when raw and red to dark purple when fully ripe. Kokum is widely used as a beverage and also has been used as a medicine in traditional Indian Ayurveda. A myriad of health effects have been attributed to Garcinia, which range from anti-...
